The Indians of Texas in 1830

by Jean Louis Berlandier

This is the classic. Out of print since 1969. This is a used copy in nice condition. It has the original dust cover with only a little wear around the edges. The inside is pristine.

Berlandier traveled across Texas in 1830 recording the Indian tribes he met. His descriptions are some of the best eye witness accounts of Texas Indains we have. This book has the famous color watercolors of 16 different Texas tribes. Some of these are the only pictures we have of these tribes before they were removed or exterminated. The pictures alone make this book a must have for any student of Texas Indians. I have seen other used copies of this book sell for $100 and more.

We have one copy.
